mabl has built a SaaS test automation product which saves time and effort for engineering teams by using AI to automate much of the manual tasks QA and Developers spend time on today. In turn, teams can experience significant ROI and move at the speed of DevOps. Our customers include leaders in their industries such as Riot Games, Charles Schwab, Jetblue, and many others. 

Our team is led by veteran founders Izzy Azeri and Dan Belcher who previously started Stackdriver, a DevOps infrastructure monitoring platform which was acquired by Google and is now the de-facto management interface for customers on Google Cloud Platform. mabl has raised $35M in venture funding from leading VC’s including GV (formerly Google Ventures), CRV, Amplify Partners, and Presidio Ventures.

About the Role:

Mabl established its business in Japan in 2019 and since then has grown to nearly 2 dozen startups and enterprises relying on mabl for automated UI and API testing including LOB/Rakuten, Note, Sansan, and others. We're looking for a motivated Account Executive with an entrepreneurial and building spirit to join our Japan team! As the first Sales person as part of our Japan team, you'll be instrumental in helping define our sales motion, meaningfully shape our future product, and drive business revenue all while having a blast doing it! 

What you’ll do: 

  • Source prospects, develop opportunities and sell mabl's Test Automation Platform to new accounts through outbound campaigns
  • Consistently achieve individual & team monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • Develop skills necessary for successful lead generation and demo completion
  • Educate customers on the product through conversations, demos, and presentations
  • Uncover business needs, technical requirements, and the buyers purchasing process
  • Document activities accurately in Salesforce
  • Possibility of travel to trade shows and key accounts to develop new business
  • Liaise with our Japanese Customer Success Manager to help drive upsell and expansion within our install base

Who we’re looking for: 

  • Minimum 5+ years of inside sales or business development experience selling to technical buyers, including QA engineers, developers or IT operations is preferred
  • High technical savviness desired, ideally in SaaS, cloud computing or enterprise IT
  • A track record of high achievement in current and previous roles hitting or exceeding quotas
  • Highly motivated and passionate team player
  • Proven track record of achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline & sales quotas
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
  • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
  • Fluency in Japanese (native level) and English (business level)
